What to Wear on a First Date

Dates can be nerve-wracking, but I think we can all agree that getting ready for them is the fun part! The goal is to impress the guy with your looks AND personality! I usually follow the rule of pick your favorite body part to show off and then cover the rest. Always good to leave a little mystery! ;-) For example…I like my legs and booty so tight jeans and a tall pair of heels works for me! Some girls want to show off cleavage ( I wish that was me) …In that case you could go for a low cut blouse and jeans and heels. Also, guys LOVE  a romper or jumpsuit. I get compliments from my boyfriend (and other men) Whenever  I wear one. Remember: when going on a first date dress for the GUY. Most of the time girls dress for other girls and that is a whole other post!

What to wear if you want to show off your legs:

A mini skirt is SO fun and flirty for a first date! Personally, I think the shorter the better. If you go this route balance the look with a modest top. I love the layered look. I would wear a mini with a blouse and a jacket over it. You could wear heels or flats with this look depending on where the date is!

For the Prepster

Ted Baker London
Staycee Tropical Oasis Miniskirt
$135

Classy, chic, and adorable. Can’t go wrong with this one. I would pair it with a white tee and maybe a denim jacket for a little twist. Lace up sandals would be cute with this skirt.

Imagine this skirt with some high booties and a plain tee shirt. Ideal for evening filled with live music.

What to wear if you want to show off your chest:

If you want to wear something to show off your chest you could go for a low cut blouse or top. Again, if going for a super sexy top, pair it with nice jeans to balance the look.

Victoria's Secret
Bombshell
$49.50

First of all, the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell bra works WONDERS. I call it the $50 boob job.

This top is flirty AND sexy at the same time! I love the floral print. You could pair it with black or white jeans to dress it up a little. If you’re not a fan of floral prints here is another option:

If you’re not a fan of floral prints here is another option.

What to wear if you want to show off your booty:

I think my butt is my best physical feature. The perfect pair of jeans is my go-to. You want a pair that are stretchy (hello comfort!) with perfectly placed pockets. Trust me: weird pockets can make a pair of jeans terrible. You want a pair with pockets that are positioned higher on the booty. This will make the butt appear tighter and perkier. YAS! You never want the pockets to be below the natural curve of your booty.

Bubbles Bodywear
Double-O® Powernet Lowrise Panty STRONG
$44

Also I recently came across these booty underwear. Haven’t tried yet, but I want to (update to follow)!

The perfect pair of skinnies.

What to wear if you want to show off your tummy:

I love a good crop top and so do men! Caution: If you’re going to a long fancy dinner this may not be the best idea! Not because you won’t look good, but because no one ever feels their best in a crop top after a big meal. A crop top would be great for a movie or theme park date. There are so many cute options out there right now here are some of my favorite!
