Vegan Scones
  
Nothing accompanies a brunch better than a delicious scone served with berries and cream.  Here is a vegan version of a traditional breakfast treat.

Vegan Scones

You Will Need:
  
  
2 cups + 1 T all purpose flour
4 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
½ cup sugar
6 T vegan butter
½ cup almond milk
¼ cup canola oil
1 T apple cider vinegar
  
  Makes: One Dozen 
Bake: 15 minutes

  Preheat oven to 375°

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the butter is pea sized and well incorporated.

  In a small bowl, whisk the almond milk, oil, and apple cider vinegar

  Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

  Roll onto a lightly floured surface to ¼ inch thickness.  Cut into circles and place on a greased baking sheet.

  Bake for 15 minutes.
  Serve with vegan cream and berries.  Enjoy!
