Challenege Yourself: Aerials
Hello, lovelies!

   Happy Monday!
I want to start this week off by motivating you all to do something new when it comes to your fitness routines.

Hi, lovelies!
I want to start this week off by motivating you all to do something new when it comes to your fitness routines.

For me, I have always had an interest and wanted to take an Aerial Silks class. I have told myself time and time again it would probably be too hard, or I would fail at it right off the bat, and therefore shouldn't even try. This past week I had a dear friend come into town for a visit and she encouraged me to find a local studio and go and try it.
So, that's exactly what I did. I found Studio Spin . I signed up. I showed up. And it was scary. Taking a class with multiple women who had already formed relationships with each other and had been learning in this class for weeks was out of my comfort zone. Taking a class on something I have never done before was definitely out of my comfort zone. A class about trusting your own strength and allowing your self to potentially fail and quite literally fall (Yes, I did fall on my butt a few times. True story).
My biggest take away? It was so worth it. Putting myself in a vulnerable atmosphere were I knew I wasn't going to succeed right away felt healthy. It felt like a good challenge. And let me tell you, it was very hard physically. My body is still very sore (and it's already been 3 days since the class). But I am really glad I did it. I feel great knowing I had accomplished learning something new, even if it was messy at times and imperfect.
Do something this week that may initially scare you, may seem foreign to you... And just go for it!

Ps- Cheers to supporting local businesses! Find a studio near you and go do something NEW!

She loves being active becausenot only has it strengthened her awareness of treating her body well, but has given her a drive to encourage and help others do the same. She loves finding new ways in (and out of) the gym to strengthen and nurture her body while keeping it interesting and fun! She loves to incorporate her dancing roots into her workout routines, and throw in ballet technique ever so often.

When she is not hitting up the gym or spending time outdoors, she can be found performing on stage, choreographing productions, reading a novel, or hiking. Casi finds joy in meeting people and loves when she gets an opportunity to encourage them to be fit and to love the body and life they're in!
